I have served at SAFMC since August 2006. As the Worship guy, I work with artists, musicians, technicians, planners, builders, singers, readers, actors, and preachers to help create an environment for corporate worship.
Family
Thankfully, the beautiful Emily said “yes”, so we got married in 2001. Our daughter Lexi and son Mac keep life interesting, as they are both still young enough to put the wrong things in their mouths.
Passions
I love people, music, reading, coffee, old-school video games, wires, teaching, good satire and writing bios.
Secret Ambition
To build a scale replica of the Spring Arbor FMC building—using Legos.
If I could recommend one book to someone
The Bible. And no, I’m not saying that just because it’s what I’m supposed to say as a Pastor: I’d be saying the same thing if I worked somewhere else—like Sears, for example. It really is the most important book that supersedes any and everything that has been or ever will be said or printed.
Favorite Movie
Changes from month to month. I really love Mystery Science Theater 3000.
