The Kind Gift of Repentance

The Scripture readings for today are all about the new reality of the invading Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is at odds with this world, and its arrival demands a response. The Bible calls the response repentance, or turning around, changing your heart, mind and actions.

Pastor Mark’s sermon will focus on the story of Jonah and that the story is not just a story of how a man got swallowed by a fish and survived, but rather a story of God’s grace granting repentance to the people of Nineveh.
