The Barretts can’t imagine doing anything else but serving the Lord and His people in foreign missions. They see their past opportunities of ministry leadership, and even the times of difficulty, were part of God’s preparation.”
Patrick and April desire to see many Latinos grow in their faith. They also desire to make a lasting impact on the FM churches in Central America by empowering and developing leadership and implementing programs that can be sustained and broadened by the national church. The Barretts were short-term missionaries in Costa Rica in 2004.

- Family transitions to the field.
- Good relationships with people in Costa Rica.
- God’s leading in developing and coordinating International Child Care Ministries to high risk children.
- Wisdom and creativity in developing leadership materials and curriculum.
