Dan and Dee Ann Snyder began serving with Free Methodist World Missions in 1993, first in Rwanda, Africa, and then in Haiti. They served in Haiti from 1996 until 2005 when they returned to the U.S., but they continued to minister on short-term assignments in Haiti. The Snyders returned to Haiti full time in August 2008. Dan, a physician, coordinates medical work at Dessalines Hospital, and Dee Ann works in support staff areas.

- Security, unity and spiritual renewal in Haiti
- The Snyders’ three grown children: Ashley (Jewell) receiving a R.N. Degree from Andrews University, Rachel graduating from Spring Arbor University and James graduating from high school and entering college
