Serving Opportunities

Making a Practical and Eternal Difference

Serve

“Learn to do right; seek justice.  Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless;  plead the case of the widow.” Isaiah 1:17

God knows the deep needs of people and is capable – and desiring – for those needs to be met.  God also knows that if we help meet the needs of others - we grow; we become transformed and more Christ-like. If God meets everyone’s needs without working through people, then we don’t have to be relational, caring, compassionate, and empathic. By serving others through compassionate and relational ways, we live as Jesus lived; we live out the commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves, and the Great Commission to go and make disciples.

If you, your family or your Missional Community desires to serve at one of these locations, please make contact with the listed person.  There are MANY other opportunities in Jackson County.  Please contact Rod Mathews to look at a Community Resource Directory and other ideas.
