Regarding this series: Selah, Selah and Amen.

The great commission is not about altar calls but about making disciples.  That’s what I appreciate about your particular gift.
There IS a self-determined, positional relevance for salvation.  Mark 4:11; We have the secret of the kingdom of God! by (vs 13-20), hear the word, accept it, produce a crop. And this by, Jas 1:21 Amp., “ So get rid of all uncleaness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in humble spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in you hearts] contains the power to save your souls.  But be doers of the Word [obey the message] and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by resoning contrary to the Truth].” THIS is the true and glorious salvation B.
Married with the truth that to live and die to something is a matter of the senses, confirmed by your two questions, my simple solution has gradually beome virtually no T.V. and recommitment to scripture memorization. It’s so beautifully simple. If I claim I’m a Chrisian, BORN AGAIN, I must be united with Christ in his death in order to be united with him in his resurrection. An instrument of righteousness concludes loosening of the world in increasing measures.  If my chritianity is not affecting openly my daily walk, God have mercy on me.

THIS is the gospel.

Pastor Mark,
The gospel works, keep going!
