Recovery & Restoration

Recovery & Support Groups
Our recovery and support groups meet throughout the week. Many people have found help and healing through sharing with others in a group format. Perhaps you can find REAL HOPE and healing in one of the groups listed below.

Women’s Recovery & Restoration Group – This group exists to support women through some of life’s difficult times. It provides an environment where emotional and relational healing can occur, new understanding of life issues can be developed, and spiritual growth encouraged. We will use “Life’s Healing Choices” as our book study during Winter 2010. Band Of Brothers – A Discipleship Course for Sexual Purity for Men

Al-Anon – For over 55 years, Al-Anon (which includes Alateen for younger members) has been offering strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people… alcoholism is truly a family disease. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship.
Tuesdays at 7:30pm in the Friendship Room. For more information please contact Betsy Burns at 750-2782.
Chronic Hope Network – This support group is designed specifically for those dealing with chronic illness personally or as a caregiver. Please contact Marilyn Wilson at 750.4905 if you’d like more information about this group.
One-on-One Financial Consultations – If you are experiencing financial difficulties and could benefit from help learning how to budget and manage your income, one of our trained, but not certified, financial consultants can meet with you. The consultant will review your specific financial needs and objectives and make recommendations to assist you in working toward your financial goals.
